SeekingFire Ducati First Impressions series
Ducatis are often described as an addictive yet idiosyncratic mount. I’ve noticed some differences myself and decided to document them while the muscle memory of my 1998 GSF1200S Bandit (“Josephine”) is still fresh in my fingertips. I put over 51,000 kilometers on Jo and hope to do the same with Bella... I put 2,500 on in the first 3 weeks. This will probably make interesting “hindsight” reading for me in a few years time, when my impressions aren’t so fresh.
Note that this applies to my 2006 ST3 with the Ducati Performance Kit. A ST3s or a stock ST3 might be different.
